ONE COMPANY - ONE SOURCE - ONE SOLUTION

General Combustion with five decades of experience in drying and thermodynamics established itself as the leading source for combustion drying systems to the asphalt and aggregate drying industry's. With 100's of patents to its credit, General Combustion is the industry's prime innovator of advanced combustion technology. Every major advancement in aggregate drying and combustion thermodynamics in the last 30 years was spawned at GeneralCombustion.

Astraflame Burner:
An efficient and compact design, the Astraflame burner is extremely reliable and inexpensive to maintain. Because the Astraflame does not require a combustion port or refractory ignition chamber higher efficiency is achieved with increased production, while decreasing fuel consumption. Small in size and lightweight it installs easily on any rotary dryer and can operate on any liquid or gaseous fuels. Available in output ranges from 25 to 200 million BTU/hr

Ultraflame Burner:
The Ultraflame burner is a "total air" system providing 100% control over air and fuel. Its unique two-stage combustion design provides all the air required for complete combustion and flame shaping. The Ultraflame can be used in any rotary drying process that requires between 25 million and 200 million BTU/hr. of heat release. The Low Nox combustion system significantly reduces noise and allows the use of conventional fuels-such as oil, gas, or LP.

Vertical Heater:
General Combustion Vertical heaters are designed specifically for high temperature terminal applications where space is limited. Because of the unique design of the MKVO Vertical Heater, heavy waste oils and recycled fuels can be burned without fear of coking, sludging, or damage to the coil. The unique "Ash-Out" heater design eliminates the problems associated with burning of these types of fuel oils and allows the highest energy efficiency to maximize the caloric value of the fuel oil.
